Does eduroam track your activity? ›

Eduroam network administrators can monitor all the traffic that goes through the Eduroam servers. They will be able to tell the websites you visit, the content you download or access, the searches you make, etc.

User identification in eduroam

Although it does not expose the user's identity directly, it can be used to track a device within and between networks.

eduroam is for students and staff from Brighton or any other University. It is fast, automatically connects and gives you unlimited, secure access to the internet.

eduroam is based on the most secure encryption and authentication standards in existence today. Its security by far exceeds typical commercial hotspots.
