If you are unable to access your courses on Learn@Seneca (Blackboard), make sure that you have paid any outstanding fees and that you have set up multi-factor authentication. Learn what to do if you can't access your courses in Blackboard. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies.

Start by checking here that you are using the most up-to-date version of Seneca. If this does not work, clear your browser's cache in your search history. Answering these questions should help us solve this problem. ​Are you on a school network?

You can contact the ITS Student Service Desk by sending an email to servicedesk@senecapolytechnic.ca from your Seneca email.

Learn@Seneca Login for First-time Users

In your Welcome email, click the link under "Please set-up your profile by following these steps" 2. Sign in with your Seneca email address and password in the Welcome email. a. If you are logging in with a temporary password you will be prompted to change your password.

Check that your username and password are correct. Check that you can access other accounts (e.g. your Seneca email). If your auto-fill option is turned on in your browser, check that it's updated with your current password. Clear your browser cache and try logging in again in a new browser.

Pros of Seneca include: immediate feedback, tailored homework and smartphone accessibility. Some cons to be aware of: the platform does not yet cover all exam boards, students need access to both electronics and the internet from home to use it, and it does not provide additional feedback to wrong answers.

You can study any section of your courses as many times as you want. Seneca's smart algorithms will remember your performance from your previous attempts and tailor the information you need to progress.

How do I reset my Seneca? ›

Enter the email that you setup SENECA with. Click 'Reset'. SENECA will now email you a verification code. Enter this number into the text box.

To activate your Seneca e-mail account and set your password, go to: My. Seneca. At the bottom of the left menu click on the link entitled "Change Password/Activate Account". Follow the directions.

Log in using school sign in details (including @arden.solihull.sch.uk). Then on Seneca click “Forgot your password?” and it should send an email to the account (this may take a few minutes to arrive, be patient ).

If we receive all the information and documentation needed to determine your eligibility for the program(s) of your choice, you will be notified by email that you have been accepted to study at Seneca. This process could take up to one week, depending on the method you used to submit your documents.

To contact your student adviser: Log in to The Service Hub Portal. Select the Student Advising tab. The Student Support Request form will open.

Put it in writing

It is helpful if you can put your complaint in writing. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, you could ask a friend, carer, family member or an organisation like Citizens Advice to help you. Write 'complaint' at the top of your letter or email, so there can be no doubt.

To cancel a premium plan, you must be logged into the student account with the Premium subscription. Go to your Premium settings, then click the three dots on your subscription. Click the "Cancel subscription" button. You will still get access to Premium up until the expiry date.
