Violence: Large and scary monsters (portrayed in live action and animation) are threatening mankind: They are depicted attacking. crushing and eating people. Deaths are implied or shown in silhouette.
Due to the adult content of the movie and the nudity and frequent coarse language, the film isn't suitable for children aged under 15 years and we recommend parental guidance for children aged 15 years. The main message from Love Actually is that love transcends all.

The killer, cold-blooded mutants are occasionally quite frightening (other times they're somewhat comedic looking); they strike quickly and injure or kill several characters. People use weapons to kill the mutants.
Love and Monsters is a cute romantic suspense story. It follows Noah and Jake, who start out as coworkers, but their relationship deepens as they get to know one another and spend more time with each other.

Not really. There's some simulated sex, and there is one sex scene that is a fair bit more graphic than the others. It's a great Christmas film though. Recommended but probably not suitable for anyone under 14 or 15.

Common sense values are not found in this film. It is very suggestive, references sex and drugs, shows drugs, and is insulting and offensive to religions.

Was Love and Monsters a flop?
It had a short theatrical window and if one were to look up the box office total one would think it was a flop. Even the status of being one of many movies released during COVID-19, when there was both a combination of overwhelming options but also few choices means the movie might have fallen in through the cracks.
Love and Monsters offers an adventure full of excitement and emotion, striking a beautiful balance of humor and heart. Love and Monsters features plenty of comedy and heart, courtesy of O'Brien's voice over and a script from Robinson and Duffield.
Very awesome movie, great to watch with your kids too.
It's a bit violent and includes peril but isn't super gory. Not really any sex besides a bit of reference but I doubt you'll even notice it. If you allow your kids to watch marvel movies then this should be ok.
From a distance, you see a young woman on a bed and she says "are you sure he's asleep?" It's implied that the woman and a man are having sex, their naked legs are shown. They stop when someone walks past the door. A guy and girl are making out in a car for a few seconds. Protagonist and love interest share a kiss.
As mentioned above, Love and Monsters 2 has yet to be confirmed, so we don't have an official release date. The first movie shot from March-May 2019 and was originally planned to be released in cinemas in March 2020.

Because of some of the content I wouldn't recommend the movie for younger children, but teens and upwards would get a kick out of the sweet romance. Otherwise, this is a great family movie for those of y'all who have older kids.
Fine for some kids under 12 but most kids can probably watch this at 12. There is some violence, but by today this is just funny over the top gore. there is also one racy scene.
