Does pixel have barometer?
Just found out that the Pixel 6 has a barometer. Anyone have any app suggestions that makes use of that? Would love to be able to get a air pressure reading that doesn't use data/location/weather apps.
Features of the smartphone
Among the sensors on the phone are the accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
Most modern smartphones are equipped with barometer sensors. Accessing barometers does not require any permission or user notification, as it is deemed to be harmless.
Sensors: Proximity/ambient light sensor, accelerometer/gyrometer, magnetometer, barometer, spectral and flicker sensor.
Yes, according the official statements released by Google the Pixel 3A has 6 sensors the Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer.
They have high precision but relatively lower absolute accuracy than table-top barometers. Specifically, the accuracy in measuring absolute pressure is low in these sensors, but their relative pressure accuracy is shown to be as low as ± 1.2 Pa [84,85], with average mobile devices having a resolution of ± 12 Pa .
For sensors, you've got an accelerometer, gyroscope, altimeter, compass, ambient light sensor, an EKG sensor, continuous heart rate sensor, and SpO2 sensors for blood oxygen monitoring.
Digital Barometer is the perfect unit for plants, labs, and all other environments where there is a need to monitor conditions of environmental air parameters. Traceable® Digital Barometers have a four-line LCD that continuously and simultaneously shows barometric pressure, temperature, relative…
Barometer Plus app measures air pressure and altitude using your device's built-in barometric pressure sensor.

Do iPhones have a built in barometer?
February 2018 - Did you know that recent iPhones and iPads have a sensitive barometer built in? I followed a link from Belite aircraft related to an app it sells for $30, but found Pressure Altimeter by Lonnie Ganz in the App Store for $1.29.
Whenever you (and your device) experience a change in elevation, the barometer measures the resulting pressure difference. That pressure difference augments the GPS data about your horizontal (x/y) location to produce a more accurate picture of where you are at any given time.
Pixel Watch doesn't have blood pressure monitor. Feel free to send feedback to the team if you feel this feature is important for you. On your phone, open the Google Pixel Watch app .
The built-in Weather display is actually a part of the Google application. Try opening the Google app and searching for "weather". The weather card which appears should provide an option to "Add to home screen", though it might be hidden behind a three-dot menu button.
The barometer sensor is a hardware component that is included in many Android devices. The software and hardware work together to measure air pressure and display the results in the weather app or other apps that use the barometer data. The first Android devices with a barometer sensor were released in 2012.
Well GPS certainly seems to be more accurate in determining geometric altitude in varied conditions. This however overlooks the fact that airspace is defined in terms of barometric altitudes, and the errors it introduces are just part of that definition, and allowed for.
Temperature Compensated Aneroid Barometer
You will not find a more accurate or reliable aneroid barometer. Proteus is a true scientific grade instrument if you are looking to take weather tracking and observing to the next level.
Digital barometers are used by meteorologists and other scientists who want up-to-date atmospheric readings when conducting experiments in the lab or out in the field. The digital barometer is now an important tool in many of today's smartphones.
The Pixel Watch with the Pixel 7 Pro. The Pixel Watch has almost all of the sensors for measuring health and activity that you'd expect from a premium smartwatch, including optical heart rate, ECG, GPS, compass, altimeter, an accelerometer and a gyroscope.
Search for a place, or adjust Google Earth until you find the correct location. Press and hold the location to reveal the altitude.
Can I use my Pixel underwater?
Pixel phones are water-resistant, but that doesn't mean they're built to go in the ocean. That's where specialty case manufacturers like Kraken come in. The Kraken housing vacuum-seals your Pixel to keep it safe up to 280 feet underwater, making it perfect for scuba diving and other undersea activities.
You can find and download barometer apps for both iPhone and Android, which you can use to do your own weather predictions.
There are several apps available that make use of these sensors like My Altitude or Barometer & Altimeter Pro. To use these apps, simply install them from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android). Once installed, open the app and allow it access to your device's sensors.
This section covers three types of barometer design: cistern, angle or diagonal, and aneroid.
Avoid a location that is exposed to direct sunlight as the temperature changes can affect the readings. Hang the barometer away from drafty locations, like near a door or a window. Air pressure is too variable in these locations.
