Every summer, Lees-McRae Summer Theatre welcomes performers from our local community and around the country to bring the magic of theatre to the High Country region. Performers are either hired in one of two categories: professionals or performance interns. Professionals are those who have completed their undergraduate training or have significant professional experience. Current undergraduate performers are hired as a member of a performance internship program. Regardless of their hiring category, all performers are paid, and room/board is provided for those not local to the Banner Elk area. With questions, contact Gabriel Vanover at vanoverg@lmc.edu.
